Aww yes I’ve already been playing with my dingy…..except I call it a Jon boat ….realizing now that could be interpreted the wrong way. Anyway it’s the thing that gets fishy smelling when I use it properly….Boating season will be here soon, moorings and markers are going out.
Harbor mouth looks spooky in the mist.

Boat is in the sea since last week. Shes a thick old girl (the boat not my mum), built 75 years ago
Need some new paint on the deck and few more details varnished but pretty much ready to go.
I hosed it down properly on the inside before it went in to get the wood to swell a bit and it was decidedly much less leaky, hardly had to pump anything.

Congrats on getting the mast up. Looks like you're almost ready to get out there and enjoy it!Technically not today, but yesterday. View attachment 3948
You keep on liking the boat so i keep on posting it
Got the mast on yesterday, after much trouble. Its a hassle every year; in line with Murphys teaching the port installed a crane that is exactly as long as our mast; meaning that it allways tangled up on top: we had to abandon the idea of ever having a Windex (the pointy thing that shows where the wind is coming from) cause every year it breaks.
It was a hassle even with help of a few experienced guys from the port; our boat has double everything of each wire so theres always something that gets tangled up and more than once weve had to take it down or send someone up to get the wires right. On top of that the first drops of rain the very same second as we were starting to raise it. But all went well in the end but a few nerve settling beers were required in the evening.
Im getting closer and closer to get some grow related pics to share but until then its going to the Boats, Boats, Boats.
This summer im hoping to grow out a couple of clones of La Bella on the terrace; the mystery sativa cut from Spain that is the base for the Reina Madre/Queen Mother strain. Thought it was lost but i have a friend who keeps clones for it. Should be a real treat; bonus is that it finishes real early.
Happy Tuesday
Almost and i very much hope so too. It may be the last year since im not always available to help and my mum is getting really old. This is mostly for her to enjoy since ill be back in spain in about a month.Congrats on getting the mast up. Looks like you're almost ready to get out there and enjoy
That's a whole lot of boat!Saw this 46' Oceanis yesterday. Sleek boat, all automated. Costs about 55 pounds of coke.
