What Music do you Listen to when you lite up?

My musical taste is all over the place. Dance, techno, 90’s rock. Not really a fan of metal or anything earlier than the 80’s
I am all over the map. Classical, Jazz, hard-core, pop, R&B. My first live concert was seeing Sun Ra and his Arkestra perform in Egypt when I was 13. First LP (vinyl to you kids) was Chicago II, second was It's Only Yesterday by The Carpenters.

My 1st vinyl was the Partridge Family.. 1st Concert was Bread.. I loved Karen Carpenter, and the bonus was she played the drums like I did.. well, she was much ,much better, but in a short time shifted to Jimi, Ted Nugent, Kiss, Black Sabbath and so on ..although to be honest I always like a Funky rhythm and groove.. I like alot of different music, but my preferred listing choice is more limited and mood dependant.This song had an impact on me, it said things that I held and still hold true.
My brother picked up a guitar and never looked back. At 70 now, he still shreds and worships at the altar of Ritchie Blackmore. Played briefly with Nils Lofgren. He used to settle our mother down with Bread songs even though his vocal range was a little low for that.

Shorter list is what I don't like.
Every Pop Country song, hate it! I like old time western swing, appalachian country, bluegrass, and gospel.
Every Pop 40 song ever made, mostly its about boobs or crotches anyway.
Thrash Metal, it's over powered bass, centered on how long the lead singer can scream.
Piano lounge music, needs to stay in Vegas.
Whiney rockers, trying to "explain something through song" like getting up in AM, don't want to hear your issues.
Rap is fine, as long as there's music and not a lame endless track they lifted.
I forgot, most Irish music too. You can only play so many beats on an accordian.
It's basically Tweedle-dum, tweedle-dum, dum-de-dum-dum, various patterns over and over again.
Mixed up a bit with some dreadful dirge singing, but always back to that.

Gargle Growlers is what I refer to some of them as.
Pop Country I refer to as just Pop or 70's Lite Rock.
Oh, and the copy and paste Music I find annoying, but wait for it to lead to that "new, fresh" sound.
And now there is the Booming AI Artists genre..and that... is why I am Banging My Head
I don't care if it's Mozart or Cobain. It's pop.
