What did you do today?

I’m in stalling conduit and wiring for a roll up door ( that’s hard to write without spelling it rollitup ) today outside of a ct scanner and even with the door closed every time they turn it on my key levitate and some of my connector’s run down the hallway. I don’t think the techs are as amused by this as I am.

I got all my tools sucked out of my pouch when I walked by a magnetic chamber at a physics lab.
The scientists got all hissey, till I pointed out they said "Sure, you can go back there."
It was funny watching them pull off the tools from the side of the chamber.

That is amusing. How does your body feel? Like are your joints moving better? Perhaps it reversed Aging...

Down in the valley today. The weather was beautiful had to take the bike out after doing yard work and chores LOL.

I’m going to say……nah to the anti aging. I feel about the same as yesterday. I work around these things pretty often ( large 4 year SEC university with a vet school….think cow college….that’s a direct quote from a bear ) , I don’t know how many ct scanners and mri’s we have but it is a bunch. I installed one ( an mri ) about 12 years old for horses, I’ve had to reinstall the door going into that room 6 times .
If anyone wants to guess which university it is, it’s the one that is not named after the state I live in and really don’t want to have named on this or any other site . But feel free to drop clues like school color or mascot or notice we’re about to win March madness.

Sounds like a fun place to work.

It’s good to have a job with benefits. I started when I was 40 so by the time I retire I’ll have 25-27 years in , fully vested tier one teachers retirement. It’s also been good to have BC/BS insurance, about five years after getting hired my wife became disabled and so the ins. been the biggest plus of all. Her medical needs are around $100,000.00 a month so I can put up with lot of bs at work and it’s still worth it. Plus I had several life times worth of adventure before settling down to a “ real job “ lol. I’ve been in construction since I was a little kid…. literally I was operating a backhoe when I was 8 and driving dump trucks when I was 10 and had a state home builder license at 18 . It was fun, now it’s boring, I do miss the adventure.

About 5 miles of this crap. And not even close to fixed. Gonna be here for a few days.

Not even close to band-aiding it all up. Lots of work fixing those band-aids in the off season too. An inch + of ice looks like a hurricane came through.
Most the peckerwood is not worth hauling out either, unless a chipper mill is nearby.
What a time of year too, bog season.
