Needs a second coat today. The wall that I replaced the wood on needs to be painted as well. After that I will start casing the door and put up baseboard if I have time.

It is kinda deep. Strange though, it lightens up quite a bit in the light. I feel like it's a pretty good balance of light and dark if that makes any sense lol.

I got a new gym membership (mainly to help out my mum with motivation and training)

I cursed my forgetful brother lovingly - never had to rush to arrive on time to babysit as nephew went to school today

And had a first serious talk with my sorta ex-wife (separated and we were due for divorce after i left a somewhat toxic situation) about what would be the form/options/conditions for us returning as some type of item. Just hope that this works out well and that its not just a chance for her to worm herself into my heart to go back to business as usual. But i do feel a lot of difference in her and these days i have eyes wide open. I can always fuck off again if i start seeing red flags being hoisted.

All in all felt like a successful day

Just figured out what I did to much of lol playing tug with Odin

Installed this 1940s UFO light and I'm loving it!!!

Going to put up the last section of cove trim. I managed to find some 3/4-In wood cove. I'm almost done. I can taste it LOL. I'm still going to need to paint, trim and touch up.
