BTW ... did TWN issue a high wind warning for your area? Just received a Special Weather warning a few minutes ago warning us here on The Shores. Wind gusts starting early Friday afternoon ( aka The Back Nine cause I have a 10:20 AM tee time ) continuing into early Saturday morning.
That made me check for winds this weekend, just a breeze other than violent storms breaking out (maybe).
Most the rain and rough weather keeps staying west of us, going up the Hudson valley.

Think we get winds early tomorrow. Calling for gusts of up to 70-80 km/h here downtown so ain’t no frickin’ chance the Harlequin is back out there.

This is that six week final push!

Wow, I actually can navigate thru here by myself now!
Been here for a week, might escape tomorrow.
Creels have underwater cable ready for splicing with amplifiers, tanks are full of cable for testing or loading on ships.
You can't even get the scale of this place in a picture. There's levels above this, as well as clean rooms on the top for splicing.
Thre's an amplifier manufacturing facilty here also, mostly a giant anti-static clean room.

I killed a cutworm the other day. They can do that kind of damage and it is their season. Look closely near the base of the branch and stem.
Nothing visible in that area critter wise. The only other thing that caught my eye was the wear pattern on the branch. I chalked this up to the plant tie rubbing with wind sway etc. but maybe it’s not 🤷🏻‍♂️

I throw this out to you pros.

This is the Curve Breaker again. I have one branch on an otherwise healthy plant that is just limpy. It’s odd. I’d be fine to hack it off as it won’t be a sizeable bud, but it just seems weird. This one rando branch. No other spots. 🤔

That is a stem borer probably. Once it's done with that branch, it will eat another.
Look for a small hole and some poo at the Y of the stem or at a node, but they can go in anywhere.
Cut the branch, split it to find and squash the bugger.
They come in various sizes depending on the species.

Hard to kill since they can't get sprayed.
Spray BT-k on grass around plants to kill emergent larvae before they graduate to shrubbery.

Despite strong winds coming from all directions at the same time ( yup ... we had THOSE kinds of winds in the Lindsay area today ) I still shot 82 @ Cardinal 18. Changing the way I grip with right hand has helped keep that dimpled sphere in the fairways and those Wilson wedges help get shots less than 100 yards real close to the flag.

The game is getting fun again.
