Hey everybody. This journal is open to everyone growing or wanting to grow Polar Gelato. I've been growing it off and on for 3 years or so, it's a favorite smoke and it grows in a pleasing and consistent manner, perfect for growing in a tent. Last year I decided to deepen my relationship with the strain and made seeds by reversing a feminized plant using silver thiosulfate. It worked a treat and I got approximately 18 million seeds. Here's a link to that grow.

Thread 'Polar Gelato Seed Run' https://forum.growdolls.com/threads/polar-gelato-seed-run.142/

I am now on my second grow using those seeds, now on day 6 of flower. I hope the rest of you PG growers will document your work here regularly. Let's grow together and make some noise!

Polar Gelato is on the right. Today I need to get in there and defoliate a bit. Maybe more than a bit, we shall see!

We will weigh 50 typical seeds, determine their weight and weigh the whole amount and extrapolate. Maybe some clever people can 'weigh' in. I think all guesses would have to end in zero. Close enough!
lay the seeds out on white paper, flat, and snap a pic. i will count them all.

i need to work off these seeds!

also, the polar gelato, all 4 seeds had a tail coming out of the water bottle, rare for me

also, im gunna guess about 800 seeds in that ther jar

My seed harvest. Not sure if they're ALL viable but the dark stripey ones sure are. Interested to see if my next reversal can yield more of those. The lighter ones germinate but they stall out after the shell cracks.View attachment 16935
wow I've never been able to get even close to that many seeds from a reversal. Really nice job ! I like to do the "squish test" to check for viability. If they squish easy when you squeeze them between your fingers or when you push them against the table they are no good.
