You said it @Laughing Grass, rainy, grey & cool today. The Harlequin toppled over in the winds so she’s hangin’ in the garage for now. No catastrophic damage.

Waiting for the insurance adjuster to reach out today. My wife got a brand new Camry hybrid as her rental. It’s alright.

At 13C, my basement window spiders are sluggish AF.

They like to set up shop in the windows surrounding the glow of my Stanley Cup table lamp. With the onset of the cooler temps, there has not been much for them to consume over these past week or so. I reckon the little buggers are getting peckish too. A far cry from their halcyon days of summer.

Fixing shit around the house just never ends ... feeling "lucky" that we only have to fork over $4K to replace a furnace blower motor and control module.

On my 3rd roof in 24 years. All paid by home insurance. Minnesota is unkind to roofs.

Here is the patient. Remarkably, she's bounced back after a pretty hard fall. Think she must have hit the corner of the patio table on the way down and the main stem partially split.

I've started by Gorilla taping the impacted area. She's back outside in the sun and bungee'd to the grommets and the table legs to keep steady.

Plants are all too big to get in the greenhouse together so it’ll be a case by case infirmary.

Nice work Good Doctor. She'll be right as rain ( oops ... wrong metaphor! ) again in a few days. Be a pretty substantial knuckle by the time she's chopped.

BTW ... did TWN issue a high wind warning for your area? Just received a Special Weather warning a few minutes ago warning us here on The Shores. Wind gusts starting early Friday afternoon ( aka The Back Nine cause I have a 10:20 AM tee time ) continuing into early Saturday morning.
