That's awesome plus add the light mimics sunrise and sunsets.

I've played with that setting and to be honest it's kinda stupid. For me anyway.

I set my fans to the max that they can be without stressing the plants. So my only option is to have slow down and ramp back up to that speed. Doesn't make much sense. Controlling the angle of oscillation is kickass. No more having the fan hit the side of the tent when it sucks in. Gotta be good for its longevity.

Been running the soil moisture probe for 2 days, seems to do the job.
I could see this taking the place of relatives for labor when taking vacations.
You need a ACI outlet or pump for it to stop nagging when installed, which I had.
It was at 11% out of the box, then 35-43% in 2 different pots, ramped down to 32% over 2 days.
Hand watered to 73% this morning, and showing drying afterwards.

Its size of a thin BluMat, with a long round tube extension included to reach 16 inches.
The probe part is thin, so it fits in dixie cups etc.

Pump test on a Vivosun 800gph, making sure it can pump sufficient volume to +3ft.
No problem! I'll have to dial it back probably.
Using a tall 23 gal Slim Jim kitchen can brings it right under the hole on the right side of the tent for the pipe.
Doesn't block the side intake air duct, perfect fit.

How long does everyone cut their feed lines from the floraflex head to the plants?
Putting it in the centerish of a 4x4 with 4 plants, 8 lines.
Just asking before re-inventing the wheel, laying it all out and counting with bamboo sticks and fingers.

I'd just set everything up how I wanted then cut. Leave a little extra for adjustment then trim if needed if you find them too long.

As DW says, I cut them longer at first thinking they could reach every corner easily. Shortened them eventually to match the layout. Always keeping them all the same length. Maybe not as critical but my OCD wouldn’t allow noticeable variation.

I would imagine it is critical like equal length headers on a car. I definitely have ocd too

But you can't strive for perfection without consistency

I’ve had Vivosun 6” that have lasted more than a year. ACI S6 I don’t think I’ve had one where the oscillating motor lasted a year.

Those little plastic gears don't last very long. Back when they made that shit out of metal a fan might last decades.

The S6 is a EC motor. There’s no gears. The S9 uses steel gears.
