If you read the manual for the S6 it says don’t use the oscillating for more than 18 hours a day. For a grow fan lol

looks like ill be joining the club. 2x 650 watt scorpion diablos is too much for me these days. takes up too much room. dont like how hlg doesnt do a bar light and max wattage is 750 for there lights. the hlgs 650 isnt the best for co2 enriched rooms imo. i feel like with 1500-1600 ppm co2 to hit 1300 ppfd with the hlg equipment you end up maxing out the lights wattage but to hit the really high numbers you need to be too close to the lamp and end up sacrificing light spread which is not ideal. i watched a guy test one of these lights with that same apogee light meter i own and this guy hit 1300 ppfd no problem without sacrificing light spread and the light was much more evenly distributed over the area. i think when i get one of these ill be able to max it out with co2 i bet i can hit 4lbs with this light

Hand watered (on the left) for a few weeks to get the data I needed to set the upper and lower limits.
Most the anecdotes were people using it in coco, pretty much the same in ProMix.
Much more consistent and dependable than human labor.
The extension tube won't fit in FloraFlex caps, left it off and buried the probe.
Set to ON at 35%, off at 65% or 3 min. timer. One plant was drying a bit faster, raised it from 33% a couple points.
You can use more sensors also. I'm going to use a second probe on the next run, either will trigger pump for safety.

it's weird how they can make an inline fan last forever, but not a clip on fan.
hey does anyone know where to get more cords to connect your led light from the driver to the lamp they only appear to send 1 8 foot length per led driver. my flip box appears to be too far from my room. there doesn't seem to be an option to purchase new ones or replacements. customer support has not been to helpful i sent a polite email on the 20th and i never even got a response. i also engaged with them in chat trying to figure out if there led driver needs a neutral when on 240v or not and the guy in the chat you could tell didnt know anything. my electrician was sitting next to me reading the chat telling me this guy is an idiot were talking to. turns out im good they will plug right into my flip box with the supplied cord and dont need a neutral and work without changing the cord end since my outlets are universal on my flip box (they accept 120 and 240 plug ends but only supplies 240v/60hz out) id rather not cut the plug ends off the driver and the lamp but they dont seem to give you an option lol. why advertise remote mounting and 110-277v drivers if they are unable to properly accommodate customers wanting to remote mount and use other voltages than 120v
id really like to remote mount these drivers just doing some quick math when remote mounted ill save 1000 watts x 3.42 btus/per hour which works out to a saving of approx a quarter ton of cooling per 12 hour cycle.

im gona wait until monday going to phone them and see if i can buy some. it may not even work if its too long of a run from the flip box if there is too much of a voltage drop then the light wont work properly. if that ends up being the case then ill cut both of the proprietary ends off the cord and get a much higher guage wire with two new water proof twistlock connectors and make a longer one with my friend whos an electrician. i was thinking if im real stuck ill probably do that.

This type of connectors look very nice but buyer beware, make sure you got quality gear and avoid cheapo made in china. I honestly prefer wagos or terminal blocks, if you wanna waterproof just use some shrink wrap.
The find the wago "clamp" mechanism superior to the "plug in" mechanism: if the plug in is bad quality and/or if its subjected to mechanical stress you can create small gaps between male and female side which can lead to arching power between them; ive seen this happen on some of the cheapo lights (mars or spider farmer, cant remember) - its the only time ive seen anything melting or burning in my online experience. Each to their own - i prefer something that actually vites down on the cable to be the connection.
