F1 Purp Valley Ice x SSH

Oh my I was so confused just reading that. The SSH is an F2 of the seeds I received from Mr.Nice. I found quite a bit of variation but the keepers had some very happy highs. It would be worth looking through.

The GG#4 is the reversal of the JW cut. It was an amazing plant and I grew quite a few of the S1 version and they were all good none were her and then LG found her again in 1 seed. I was stunned :D

I hope that helps clarify a bit. Oh on the GG#4, JW's daughter reversed the cut herself and I bought a pack of her seeds.

So many seeds I want to run. LG you going to get a pack of PG and we all run it as a group?

@Shane Karmann is doing a reversal, hoping I don't have to buy them. $90 CAD for three seeds plus shipping. I'm cheap lol.

Mr. Nice seeds! Ok 👌 Thanks for clarifying. 🙂

Ive identified the 3 plants that I am planning to pollinate F2.

Plant #1 is a nice fusion of both parent plants. What I like about this plant in particular is that it isn’t sensitive to N. The overall structure of the plant is beautiful. Its looking like the stretch is going to be pretty crazy. The terps on the stem are fruity, mostly pineapple.1751754369546.webp

Plant #2 is the most vigorous of this lot. Ive already topped it once, and its still outgrowing everything. It looks like this plant inherited the SSH plant structure, but the leaf pheno of the Valley Ice. I think it will be fairly easy to breed in a narrow sativa leaf pheno. I suspect that the progeny of this plant will be the most vigorous. This plant is also not sensitive to N, and looks like it will be a heavy feeder. The terps on the stem are fruity with a strong scent of ripe papaya.1751754409021.webp

Plant #3 is the closest copy of the SSH. Very sensitive to N. Im curious to see how she turns out. I might not pollinate this plant, im still trying to decide if its worth the hassle. It doesn’t seem very vigorous and a little too sensitive for my liking. I will take some pictures of that plant later. She looks a little rough and needs more time to fill out.

Below is a shot of the canopy. My hand is placed over a Durban Poison, that is for a seed reproduction. To the left of my hand is the DP male. Ive pruned these two plants twice. They have a massive root system and are eager to start flowering.1751754435416.webp

I did some pruning and defoliating today. I rarely defoliate, but in this case it seemed necessary. Im trying to get a full and even canopy before I flip them.
Im going to flip them to 10/14 to reduce the initial stretch. I did an experiment with this on my previous crop and it worked out well. I increase light by 30min in week 3. Week 4 light is 11/13. Week 5 light is 12/12. Week 8 light will be reduced to 11/13. Week 9 light will be 10/14, and stay that way until they finish. Im anticipating 10-12 weeks for some of these plants. Wont know until I get there. 😎1751839455442.webp1751839468052.webp

I took 2 cuttings of plant #1. Im pretty sure she is the best candidate to make the F2 lot. She has vigor and is quite robust compared to the others. She took the hot soil like a champ. I would say that she is still a light feeder, but definitely not as sensitive as the other plants. Hopefully she is stable.
FYI, I splice my rooting plugs in half. Works great. 1751839502547.webp1751839511596.webp
