F1 Brandywine x Valley Ice

Mine is at week 9 and a day or so and waiting to see a little amber and lowers ripen bit more. I have spots of reveg like your pics that and starting to throw nanners but been picking off. Do I just let it ripen still, those reveg green spots and nanners got me going crazy. Here's a awful pic but maybe you can see from experience.View attachment 4954View attachment 4955
Your plant looks great 👍. I wouldn't waste any energy fussing with those bananas, its to late in the cycle for any seeds to develop. Its also possible that they might be sterile.

Chopping her down a little early is also an option. I usually chop stuff at week 8 or 9 if the plant starts to annoy me. I always end up with decent smoke, especially after a proper cure.

This is how the reveg is looking today. I will strip everything off the plant, and leave only 4 new branches, max. That way the plants energy is more concentrated and the reveg is quicker.

Thank you I've been thinking about what you were going to say. Just calmed down knowing can't get seeds. It's my only plant going so fussy I will live with, lol. The reason I'm waiting for a little amber is for the sedative effect, hopefully, using it all mostly for tincture and edibles. It's kritcal Kush but genetics are a freebie so who knows. Thanks again 😁

Clones are getting transplanted today, finally. Im going to proceed with my plan, and cross plant #8 with the F4 Valley Ice male. I have a really good feeling about this decision.
Ive decided to scrap this outcross project, and just play around with the genetics of plant #8 to see what I unlock.
Im going back to the drawing board for the Valley Ice outcross. I will be using a classic strain that is more compatible with the Valley Ice genetics.

Two F1 clones were shuffled into the flower tent. For the sake of simplicity, Sunday will be documented as day one of flower.

The F4 Valley Ice male is week 2 into flower. I have the male in the living room, and will start collecting pollen in about 2 weeks.

I also have plenty of fresh Durban Poison pollen. I cut down that male today. He did his job and pollinated a DP female for a seed repro. Im going to use the DP pollen and fully pollinate one the F1 clones.

After much contemplation I am going to proceed with my original plan. I will be developing this line into a separate strain. It will not be crossed back into the original Valley Ice lineage.
Below is the updated VI chart. The F1 Brandywine cross is on the far right of the chart.

Week 1 on 12/12

Plants are looking happy. Ive changed my mind. I will not pollinate one of these clones with the F4 VI male. I am going to wait for the F4 VI that is outdoors to start flowering, and select a strong purple male to cross with the F1 BW x VI cut. Im going to do this right and make sure those purple genetics stay strong.

Nothing else to report.

This is the F4 Valley Ice male. I selected him from an outdoor batch of 30 males. A beautiful sativa ruderalis male. Indoors he displays phenos that lean towards ruderalis.

I will update my F4 Valley Ice thread sometime this week. That project is going really good.
