About A Pound

they multiply so quickly usually by the time you see a leaf problem its too late. harvest on monday so thatll be okay but my rooted clones in 1 gallons are toast. i always take the nuclear option. i take all new cuts off the clones, submerge each cut in pyrethrin based bug killer since i cant buy spinosad anymore thatll screw with there nervous system then i submerge each cut in clean water to rinse that off then the snips go in a cup of water until i have the number of new snips i need. then ill repeat those steps for each variety. then ill completely bleach and wipe down the entire inside of the tent. setup the aeroponic cloner put all the cleaned snips in the cloner then tape all gaps and holes on the dome to isolate the cleaned snips. then i discard all contaminated soil/media right outside into the garbage because thirps lay eggs in soil near the base of your plants. then i bag all pots and saucers until i have time to handwash and then into the dishwasher. my new snips will stay taped under the dome for the next three weeks thatll give me time to harvest the main room and bleach and wipe down everything. itll set me back about a month but the problem will be gone

:( I'm glad you got to harvest at least.

I hope you get the upper hand on those MFer’s.
I just ended a few months fight with thrips myself. They took over while I was on a multi week ski trip.
Two tents at 7 weeks each in flwr & most of the upcoming veg plants, all trashed.
I did an almost identical clip n clone as you, tossed the “moms” then also into isolation .
Bleach cleaned everything I could, and started a bunch of seeds.
Only the second time in 25yrs I’ve interrupted my perpetual cycle.

should be alright i caught it real early, ive seen the problem before. clip n dip and remove soil is the best way. i shouldnt have done an open loop should have sealed everything and turned on the co2 i suspect they must have entered through my duct work

You do a nice job trimming. Have you ever considered a trimmer?
yea i have, i have a friend who owns one of the expensive ones pretty sure his is made by twister there okay i guess ive seen them operate. i miss the good old days where id haul the plants upstairs and me and the boys would get hammered at the kitchen table trimming all the weed. the wife doesn't let me do that anymore stinks up the house too much. i actually need a favour from you can you take some photos of the top of your light i want to see all the wiring and the connections im thinking about getting one of those 1000 watt ac infinity lights but i want to remotely mount the ballasts and convert it to 240v. ac infinity says there lights do 240 but they dont sell the lights with the plug end to run it on 240 which is a bit annoying lol

Probably not the side you want to see. This is the side that goes to the outlet. I can’t get to the other side right now. It has a connector that connects to the light. It comes with two long extension cables. The uis ports are also on the far side. It comes with a uis daisy chain cable. I’m also using the aci wireless adapter

That sucks, I had to laugh react to that meme tho. I have one of those going right now too. Not that strain, but a turd plant that isn't worth the space it occupies or the time it will take to trim it.

Buds in the bowl look fantastic.
lol its not often i see a plant so shitty its not even worth turning into hash trimmed all the largest tops and was like nope in the trash bin

lol i use that for adjusting the fiskars scissors too tight it causes too much friction makes my hand sore too lose and its not trimming the leafs properly. im just showing off these sweet pruning sheers i scored at the garden centre finally a pair with no plastic or anything that can break
Yea I have those same pair for maintenance in garden and pruning apple trees. Nice can take blade off to sharpen or replace.
