View attachment 577all these culitvars look like they were very enjoyable indoor and that purple leaning cultivar looks like a plant if love to wash/squish into some dab

that's a good question they usually are clones, so when i flip my plants from a previous run thats sorta where it starts 3 weeks in the aeroponic cloner. then into beer cups under a dome for a week. then out of the dome. from there another 50 days or so under super super low light like 50-100 ppfd so as not to get too big otherwise they would outgrow my little tent for clones around this time im topping multiple times so the clones grow nice and wide. i try not to think about days for veg rather than size. when i harvest a run generally speaking i have clones that are practically root bound in 1 gallon pots yelling at me to be up potted. however this run the plants got another i think extra 3-4 weeks once out of the 1 gallons because i wanted to use 10 gallon bags rather than my usual 5 gallon bags

How do you keep them so low? Seem like if I veg clones for more than a day they’re hitting the roof of the tent.

i think the biggest thing for keeping clones from running away is less light, minimal nutrients and top them a couple times itll slow them down. before i got leds they used to live under a set of old 4' fluorescent shop lights they would just veg slowly the whole time id be flowering something else. if i wanted to add a plant from seed the next run id start the seed about a week after the clones went into the cloner. ive seen people in the past keep small plants that look almost like bonsai trees for taking cuttings these have been in beer cups for about 2 weeks now

You seem like a light wizard. I wish I had a better feel for it , don’t get me wrong I do ok but I appreciate skill when I see it. Your set is pretty impressive.

There’s my problem. I normally hit vegging plants with 300 ppfd.

I have a GG#4 mom that I’ve been torturing for a few months to keep small sorta ugly bonsai.

idk any more about the ppfd theres a few tops getting 1300 or so not many are getting less than 1000 its a bit of a mess since i cant raise the lights higher. light spread is fk'd. tons of flowers tho i cant even guess how many tops.

theres a couple tops that are getting too much light approx 1300. for the most part around 1050 or so. 1050 or so as a general rule i think is the max without co2 enrichment any higher and you risk light stress in my opinion however there are likely some particular varieties that naturally can take more light and i suspect those would be sativas due to the sun being much more intense in those parts of the world.
