Day 11 in the system some strawberries are flowering. Very vigorous although I pulled one that wasn't growing and it had some root slime and no new growth. I don't think active root rot, it just died and started decaying. Only half of the 25 plants I bought were viable, at least not for hydro. I believe I'll go buy some Pool Shock and change the res.20250624_084331.webp
 
Day 17! One week to first salad! Right now I'm pursuing a five heads a week schedule. I have 3 'generations' going now, so I need to start 5 more to plug in next week.20250630_101013.webp20250630_101009.webp20250630_100959.webp Strawberries are doing their thing too. More blossoms and runners are forming. They seem to require less root mass than lettuce, maybe that will change. Very hopeful of success.20250630_100918.webp20250630_064155.webp
 
My beans just popped the surface. I wasn't gonna even have a garden this year because I was so fed up with the groundhog problem. But the other day the one that's been the most recent problem got hit and killed by a car. So I planted. There's others but they haven't been as brave to get so close.
 
Trashed the remaining soft green lettuce. That does not like the light intensity at all. The Red Garnet wants more. The core of this was weird and ingrown like the new leaves came out and went ew, no.20250708_192037.webp
