As much as I’m loving the winter weather forecast for the mammoth area this coming season, the effect we’re feeling now, 96* at bedtime, 86* when I woke up this morning with east coast humidity, I’m over it now… peanut agrees.

I'm thinking about having a party, Halloween falls on a Saturday this year

The few Saturday Halloween parties we attended usually ended at 4:00 AM Sunday. Gotta admit that the serious mid afternoon hangovers did make watching the NFL that afternoon far less stressful.

the problem is everyone's busy now. Really hard to get everyone to agree on doing something together on the same date.

So last weekend, the Bowmanville Fish Ladder was pretty vacant of the species we went to see. A few fins close to the leap spot and a couple of shadows wiggling in the waters further downstream - but nothing like the numbers we will see in a few weeks.
