The good news is I can harvest all the squash now. Just seems weird ending part of the patch so early. I thought they'd go til nearly frost. It's making me fire up the hydro veggies. Always be growing, amirite?

Keep 'em straight ... I was able to do that at the range yesterday with every club but that wretched D! Those irons really are straight and long like the review claimed.

It's Fish Ladder day here. Water temps are dropping and that signalled the salmon and trout to start moving upstream. They are congregating at the Bowmanville location now. So we start the day with lunch at The Snug - an Irish Pub in Newcastle. Come for the beer then go marvel at 500 or so Chinook and Coho fins all jockeying for their turn at "The Jump"

I am officially pulling the plug on this STS attempt. The treated plant looks more female with each passing day. Insufficient levels of silver nitrate in the final mix so the ethylene wasn't blocked. So we'll have to keep rolling the strain and give it another kick next year.
