Got a room for a few nights on the island, breakfast including coffee isn't promised till 7am!
Probably start coffee at 6 when the staff wakes up. ...nope, just checked.
Have to make dinner reservations too and bring your own liquor, not many licensed places.
We plan on making own coffee, watching sunrise, back for lobster omelette then bag lunch for hiking all day.

Y'all know I've been there recently with mites. Like those aphids, mites abandon plants when they sense that their gravy train is ending. I removed those two affected plants that evening and left them close to the door to take and dump them out back next morning. The little fucks must have sensed something was a foot.

By the next morning, each plant had a bunch of two foot long strands of mite webbing hanging down from the a few of the outer most leaves in the plants. And each strand with several hundred mites hanging on them waiting for the wind to move them to their next victim. All of those strands were twirling and swaying INDOORS WHERE THERE WAS NO WIND!!!! The mites were jockeying for position on the strand. It felt like I was watching those bug scenes in the Owner Of A Lonely Heart video from Yes.

I almost got stumped on today’s Weedle. Actually lost wifi then refreshed and it counted my first word twice - eek.
Hope everyone had a great weekend. Sounds like the Taste of the Danforth festival was a success after a two year hiatus. Estimates put the weekend attendance at 1.8 - 2 million people.
We got our street eats and took in the festivities.
Fave thing to do is get up early on Sunday and ride our bikes down the middle of the street before set up. Kind of a trip.
