We have the grandson for one more day. Oh to have the energy of a 6 year old. We spent 3 hours at the splash pad in the afternoon. I swear he didn't stop the whole time. Dinner was more of the same a couple of hours in the Micky d's hamster habitat and then fell asleep in the car on the way home.

Finally, finally found out what this shrub is, bearberry. It grows on that ledge, very unusual this far south.
Took an app 5 seconds, been trying to figure it out for 30 yrs.
Even grew it for 12 yrs with some wild blueberries. Guess you can RollItUp with herb and smoke in a peace pipe, lol.
Circumpolar Arctic/alpine/subarctic evergreen that grows out of cracks, shoots are up to 6ft long over rock outcrops.
