A drunkin friend and I thought we would be able to remove a tire from the wheel by cutting it off with a chainsaw. Did you know there is a steel cable that goes through the bead? Chainsaws won't cut it. We eventually got if off of there however.

Just got everything moved from extension cords and plugged back in, now the powers out again!!
Time to bring in firewood and see if my car will move..

Good afternoon everyone. I was up late making teapots, and messing around with the grafted male plant. I accidentally broke off one of the grafts that was starting to heal.
Im going to start the grafting thread today.

On a positive note the local tire store will cost a little less than the chain store, Bob's your uncle. @Laughing Grass these tires are over half as tall as you are.

Isn't there a metal belt under the tread too?

I do get it - cause when I get new blades, I get someone else to put 'em on. You folks can call me a girl too - but the wiper arms are not standard amongst the different makes of cars. Why are there all these adapters and plastic pieces in there with the blades?

My point was that getting new wipers and a new tire is not a fair comparison.

Really? I had a devil of a time getting the old rubber off the rim even with the help of that machine.

Yeah I did all 4. 36" tires. I put a jack along the beed and the rim. Then used the weight of the jeep to pop the bead. Then used a couple tire irons with soapy water.

Then I used a product that internally balances the tires.

It wasn't easy at all.

I actually did have a real tire machine at my shop at the time. But the tires where to big for it.
