Yup,I see he just signed up and hasn't been back
Storm number two coming in this evening, we got 1.5" of rain from the first one this weekend. Snow levels were really high so I 80 didn't get shut down but they are supposed to fall with this storm and they could get a couple feet at the pass level.
Going to contact the tire store in town and see if they can compete with the chain store on prices for the truck tires. I'd much rather have them do it than have my son drive 25 miles on a front tire that could self destruct at any time. It's unlikely but possible by the way it looks.
Have to check and see when the clothes washer is leaking, if the seal for the basket is bad I'll probably just replace the washer. Too much mechanical drama around here recently and I can't fix it myself which is frustrating in itself.

Power was out for 16 hrs yesterday came on at 2 am, went out again at 7am.. Gonna have to get gas for the generator some time today not looking forward to the trip to town.. Oh yeah its still snowing

Power is back so I don't have to go get gas..Got about a foot now and yes its still snowing..
I've lived here for almost 50 years, the most we ever had was 14".. This is highly unusual!!
Maybe get some gas, just in case?

I do get it - cause when I get new blades, I get someone else to put 'em on. You folks can call me a girl too - but the wiper arms are not standard amongst the different makes of cars. Why are there all these adapters and plastic pieces in there with the blades?
My point was that getting new wipers and a new tire is not a fair comparison.
