Me,@DarkWeb and @DCcan have 50mph winds and rain till Saturday. Heard banging windows and looked out side at 5 am looking at trees swaying. Smells like spring being this warm at 54° from being in negative temps lately.

I'm done with humidity and cold can't take much more need a place in Arizona always loved desert. Seasonal changes like fall leaves are awesome and some snow storms but gets old for months of everything.

I don't handle winter so well anymore. Still, I must confess it seems almost sinful walking around in sandals and shorts this close to Christmas.

Gorgeous weather for over a week now. When I worked, some visiting engineers from Florida were wondering what was going on when people excitingly went to the windows to observe the rain. I had to explain that rain can be an event here that energizes desert dwellers, especially in the summer.

Yep rivers and creeks in AZ only have water in them when it rains or when dams open the flood gates.

We have the "Stupid Motorist Law" from people driving through flooded roadways and needing rescued. No need for a bridge when the river/creek/wash only has water in it 1-2 days a year. Lots of places to ride dirt bikes and quads though! As a teenager we could ride across town in the riverbed.

I was just following the crowd
