Just replaced Lovey's tires on her Forester, $1140.
Those tires in the picture were made for studs.
I think all snow tires have those holes for studs.

Do studs "call for tow" or dig out the jack and spare?

EDIT: Didn't intend to sound mean.
very scary! You're not supposed to try and change a tire on the gardiner expressway. You have to wait in your car for MTO trucks to block the lane and a tow truck.

Yup older vehicles and the salt they put down in winter. Actually worse than road salts is the other acid like stuff state uses. You really gotta go to car wash at least twice a month and make sure to find car wash that does underbody. I put a coat of oil for rust under this year since I bought a used vehicle and maintenance this time around.Ok I have to ask... What are you driving over that brake lines get damaged? Trees? Boulders? Spies? or other sinister types that mess with peoples brake lines?
EDIT: In Az the heat causes blowouts. Very dry so not enough moisture for rust. I would imagine a humid environment wreaks havoc on the entire under carriage of older vehicles.
What a mess making you wait,I know trying to keep safe but still. You're not supposed to try and change a tire on the gardiner expressway. You have to wait in your car for MTO trucks to block the lane and a tow truck.

Yeah that be nice here, there's only so many around that does underneath car. Next town over has a couple. Surprised you don't being dry and dusty, make some money if someone opens one around I would think.when we lived in Salt lake pretty much every gas station or convenience store had a drive through car wash.
That's not a thing in Tucson.
You make twice the money because they don't work half the time...Yeah that be nice here, there's only so many around that does underneath car. Next town over has a couple. Surprised you don't being dry and dusty, make some money if someone opens one around I would think.
