Random Stream of Consciousness

Mornin' kiddos :coffee:

Staff field trip to the CNE today for lunch/midday fun. This cooler weather is welcome and much more pleasant to meander around the fairgrounds. The Exhibition grounds are at the bottom of the street near our offices.

I doubt I'll be doing any of the silly food (the two foot hot dog for the record is $56). Half the fun is watching the inevitable disappointment when you see someone get the crazy carnival food. Its always "yeah, this isn't very good"

Be good.

Awesome! that's a pretty slick looking machine! I'm jealous of the carbon ability. I have the Bambu Labs P1... it doesn't do carbon.

It was the carbon that sold me. I can make the rc car parts the kids break lol

You know I've been wanting a printer for some time now. The kids have an interest in it, it'll help me figure out fusion 360 and it's really just cool to be able to make anything. The reasons where adding up and for under $500 it's very capable.

Wow that's reasonably priced I figured twice as much,i know filament is separate but still.
Yeah, even converted out to CDN it's pretty reasonable

Definitely share your ideas and stuff you end up making, you're gonna find some great use and fun I imagine.

I like the colour screen! For really simple models check out tinkercad. Way more intuitive the fusion 360... both are autodesk products. Tinkercad is free.

Jerk chicken roti and Belgian fudge for dessert. Pretty pedestrian for the CNE today

Do you now have your European citizenship @Laughing Grass ? That’s a huge get. Well done.

Chocolate fudge? What am I saying it's Belgian!

Not yet. I just started the citizen by ancestry process. If all goes well, and I can't see why it wouldn't I should have my Greek citizenship around December - January. I'll have to go to the embassy in Ottawa for my oath. You can't do that at the Toronto consulate for some reason.
