I kept wondering what this damn tapping sound was coming from above me.

This dude and his little buddy in the corner keep pecking away at the skylight in the kitchen.

We intentionally put a lot of glass here on The Shores - large windows and glass in the deck instead of wood railing - cause we like to see the water and environs. But digress, do I.

The number of birds that I have seen passed out on our deck boards from flying beak first into said glass is astounding. I have had to collect a couple cause it didn't end quite so well for them ... but most of the them eventually right themselves and in a bit of a disoriented stupor, fly away ... but hopefully, not into the same pane of glass that just knocked them out.

Thought I was down to my last pack of gummies but no, I have 2, well I did have 2.
I tried to take some pictures of some super frosty buds but they just turned out as a white blur, a nice problem to have. Bob rules.
In our wonderful low humidity, the plants I hung are almost dry after 1 day. Time to start washing jars.

Stupid since covid. If that didn't happen I'd probably be in a different house. Everything is way out of reach now. And what is, is a shit hole. Happy I have a place though. Even rentals are crazy......Everything has doubled.
