Trim Jail Status Report - Plant #1 is completed and I am about 1/4(ish) through Plant #2. I needed to take a little break so I've conducted the new crop smoke test - a full pipe from each plant.

Don't you love it when the new crop doesn't disappoint?

I would say that the Remo Elements dry works just fine.

My FIL is transitioning to assisted living. Woodworking was his lifetime hobby. He sent me this chisel set, I have no idea why. A couple are a little messed up but holy buckets they're sharp!

I’ve been cutting and splitting wood since the sun came up. Just taking a break now for a left-over hamburger steak and mashed potatoe snack. My friend who owns a tree service dropped off 5 18’ dump truck loads of oak yesterday and some of it is blocking the driveway so I’ll be cutting until the wife is happy… so all day. Ohh some of it is over 5’ in diameter.

Only one obscure google hit on that name. May have been a New Jersey toolmaker, which makes sense. FIL lived most of his adult life there. He loved making joinery boxes, always made stuff for his church. Planed off the tips of 2 fingers a decade or more ago, and that was the end of that!
