I made some S1's if you wanna give this a whirl. It's the seed junky cross with clear water. Wifey really likes and and it's a big producer.I definitely wouldn't mind trying more of their stuff.

I know it was a free clone they threw in but I'd email them and show what was sent and owner should be surprised it was even sent like that barely any roots. Plus the time and energy you spent trying to nurse back to health and give you a new one With roots this time. Looking forward to seeing the ice cream cake! The ice cream cake is out of quarantine and chillin with the rest of the veg plants. No bugs !

The bag seed gamble is coming along. A couple more weeks to go. It doesn't jump out at me as the best thing I've ever grown, but certainly not the worst either. I haven't been able to find any signs of seeds so I think I'm going to get away herm free.

I sent him a message and pics when it first arrived. He said he would replace the ICC if it didn't make it. But I got the impression I was shit out of luck with the DB. I didn't really push him on it though. I mentioned to him previously that I do grow journals on various sites and would be sure to include his clones. So I think it would have been smart of him to eat a bit of a loss on this one. I'm still overall positive so far on his product, but he could have really smashed it out of the park replacing it. The grow community isn't all that big and word of mouth is king.I know it was a free clone they threw in but I'd email them and show what was sent and owner should be surprised it was even sent like that barely any roots. The ice cream cake clone. No bugs or disease. Ready for flower but I have no room in the flower tent for another month... Not quite sure how to manage this. Definitely worse problems to be had I suppose.

This is what I do too. The node will just grow out into another top, given a little time. You can also supercrop anything that gets too tall, but that spreads it out and takes up more canopy space.
Send it to me and I'll flower it for you!The ice cream cake clone. No bugs or disease. Ready for flower but I have no room in the flower tent for another month... Not quite sure how to manage this. Definitely worse problems to be had I suppose.

The larger the rez the slower the drift. With water temps too.Holy shit it worked, I got roots on my 2nd try. First run I was using water with nutrients in it and was letting the PH drift a lot. The 1liter of water was going from 5.7 to 7.2 after 48 hours. It's still not quite right even with daily adjustments, these roots have sort of stalled out over the last few days and the plant is starting to look like crap so I'm going to stick it into some dirt. Any tips on dealing with PH drift or am I sort of screwed with such a small container of water ?

yea I was thinking small to keep it hassle free. But it turned out to be a pain changing water every day. And I could never nail it just by adding a drop of PH down. It always from 6ish to like 4's in that small container. The larger the rez the slower the drift. With water temps too.

I've never done them in a bubbler type setup before so I was just treating them like I do clones in the little peat pods. My ph sits around 7,2. You think they'll be fine in that ? My first attempt my clone just got white nubs that never turned into roots. When I used AI it said it was either because I was feeding it nutrients or the high PH hardened it off.To be honest I don't even worry about PH with clones. they aren't uptaking nutrients so unless it's dangerously low or high I don't worry about it.
Clones that are pumped full of N take longer to put out roots.
that's when they usually start throwing roots like mad.
