I'll give them one more week to chop time. Might be a little early but I'm getting a bit nervous some teen might sniff them out. I have a strict no bug policy in the house so I'm a little unsure of how I'm going to dry them inside. My tentative plan is to start with a 2 part bud wash. One dunk into a 5g pail with diluted hydrogen peroxide followed up with a rinse in another 5g pail. I'll let them drip dry for a few hours in the garage and trim them. I'll drop the trimmed buds into folded over brown paper bags to finish drying in the dry tent.

I've grown a strain that grew random little buds right where the leaves spread from the leaf stem. Not all over, just a leaf here and there. Might have been NL #2? It was a few years ago.

Into flowering now on the bag seed. Kinda thinking it was gelato. Sure enough I found it's throwing the odd pollen sac. They are opening up but I haven't seen any viable pollen in them. Hopefully they are shooting blanks and the damage will be limited. Did my best to pick them all.

I was checking out https://onlineclones.ca/shop/ for some clones. Was thinking about the Permanent Marker or maybe the ice cream cake. Anyone have any experience dealing with these guys ? They seem pretty affordable compared to some of the other shops in Canada.

No experience myself. Those prices are great! I paid a lot more than that for permanent marker!
Is this a trait of gelato strains? Good to know cause I love gelato. Why my dog is named Geli!
I did some reading on them. Their reviews aren't bad. What you are getting are S1 cuts, not the OG cut. That's not bad, it just means they've bought seeds, did a pheno hunt and are selling cuts from their results.
I did find a few people complaining that they didn't get their clones.

Not that I know of but I've never grown any gelato strains. But I bet it's pretty common when growing random seeds from a bag of weed.

Yea I was reading that too. I'm not positive but I think the s1's that I saw them talking about are from the "copy cat genetics" cuts they have. I wasn't positive about the PM cut. But I grow s1's all the time and I have no issues with them. How do you like your PM ? Did you happen to test it ? I'm pretty on the fence with the PM or the ice cream cake. The shine looks ok too. I grow this for my wife and she seems to favor some the "gassy" strains but she's liked cheese before too. I think the Ice CC has cheese it in it's lineage. We have no weed friends, so I really appreciate the opinions here.
I reached out to them on instagram, their communication has been spotty. They gave me the shipping cost and told me they use some sort of heat pads. But they never replied to me when I asked them about pests and if they did any testing. BTW I'm boogiegrows on instagram if you are wondering who the strange name was that added you.

I had a good chat tonight with the guy from onlineclones.ca. I feel a little more at ease ordering from there. He seemed pretty strait forward and honest about his stuff. When I asked about his P'marker he was very open and disclosed he didn't feel it was his best cut. It wasn't the best "yield" or the "nose hit" that he liked. But kept it around because of it's popularity. I get the impression that he takes pride in his stuff. He was very confident in his Ice cream cake. He has a couple new strains that he recommended but I'm not familiar with the breeders or the strains. Archive Duct tape and Jungle boys Animal Face

yea I think so. It seems like the cakes are pretty popular and maybe a safe bet. It's gotta go down better than the bag seed I'm growing.

That's kind of why I went with it. The SJ Caribbean breeze cross I'm currently growing has been one of the best strains I've grown to date.
I definitely wouldn't mind trying more of their stuff.
