I'm sorry,cute little girl. It sucks so much,I know the feeling we just lost Sophie our toy Chihuahua in November,and still sad every day it hurts miss her so much.
I am so sorry. They don't live long enough.
I am depressed for two reasons one the loss of Geisha and what her cage mate Penguin is going through. Who is blind in one eye and has motor issues is looking and chirping for her cell mate who she can't find. It was the hospital cage since they had both been beaten up by the flock. Kind of like an old maids cage. Saw the only tenderness I have ever seen these birds exhibit, they would push up against each other when they were laying eggs to help each other out.I’m sorry koikeeper.
The only good news today was I thought I had two males in one cage but today an egg appeared so one either had a sex change or bloomed late....

I’m so sorry buddy.
Penguin is doing a little better. She is coming out of her cage and visiting the other birds in there cage. The other birds go nuts when she is in front of the cage. But she doesn't get rattled just pecks at items on the table and goes back to the pile of oyster chips. She did climb on my trimming table but found nothing interesting. She did start tossing roaches out of the ashtray, then got bored with that.
So trying to spoil her and keep her distracted. She is sitting in same place that Geisha would sit and wait for me before I let her out.
Ordered more eggs before the holidays so the plan is to increase the flock and find a cage mate for Penguin, she did well with chicks last time so hope I can get the same results. They get mature in 3 months they come out of brooder in 4 weeks.

Poor Geli. We are confined to the downstairs while a house painter does his thing. Gonna be a long 2 weeks.

It's her third since we got her! The vet says her teeth are remarkably clean. She doesn't eat them, just gnaws little bits off and leaves them everywhere. She also likes to cavort triumphantly whilst brandishing her bone. You never want to step on one in the dark, let me tell you.
Harley gives no shits about the cold. I've gone terribly wrong with him somewhere along the way! Still makes me play frisbee with him when it's a million degrees below zero.

So cute. Harley does the same thing when we find a shaded spot that still has some snow. It looks like we might have some snow for him by Sunday.
