Yeah, I'd love to put a day on a pair. It's a difficult design. You can easily make a ski/board that doesn't respond like intentioned. And intentions can be different for the design. Sometimes it's about surface area on the snow for deep light stuff. Sometimes it's for looks...sometimes for the feel of a softer tail. Never got to ski a pair though. I have used a board with it.
The swallow tail is all marking, pretty much useless.
But…the most fun ski I’ve skied in a long time.
I’ve had 9 different Black Crow models, this is the only model I’ve bought multiple times, I’m on pair 4 now & would buy again.
If you get a chance to demo, go for it.
