Last night’s Chat will forever be remembered as the night history was made.
No, not because I won.
We’ll get to that.
I’m talking about something far more unbelievable…
@curious2garden brought a TIEBREAKER QUESTION.
I know.
I was just as shocked as the rest of you.
Scientists are currently studying the phenomenon.
The game itself was a Canada
vs USA 
history showdown, which was both educational and an excellent way to discover that Americans know considerably less about Canada than Canadians know about the United States. 
After ten questions, @Shane Karmann and I were deadlocked with four points each.
@laddyd finished with two points and, as always, managed to remain both highly competitive and delightfully unpredictable.
Then came the moment nobody thought we’d ever witness.
The tiebreaker.
It existed.
It was asked.
It was answered.
Against all odds, I managed to edge out Shane for the victory.
Some people are already suggesting that I strategically declined hosting duties this week because I somehow knew Annie’s trivia category in advance.
To those people I say…
I have no comment at this time.
The Championship Committee has advised me not to discuss ongoing investigations.
Congratulations to Shane on another great showing. Four points is an impressive performance, even if it ended in heartbreaking defeat.
Huge thanks to Annie for another fun night, a great trivia theme, and for proving once and for all that tiebreaker questions are, in fact, real.
This changes everything we thought we knew.
The trivia was fun.
The laughs were plentiful.
And for one glorious evening…
The impossible became possible.
See you all next Wednesday
