Ever try the Clam Box in Ipswich, Ma? They are worth a stop if you're on the north shore side.

Nope
I am a south shore guy. I have on several occasions driven to and from Jake's in one day 4 to 5 hours each way.
When I was a kid spent summers in Hull and we had Paragon Park one side of town we had Atlantic ocean the other side of town some places a couple of hundred feet to the bay side.

Legend has it, David Bowie once went on a no-sugar diet with a close friend. A couple weeks into it, a Mexican restaurant bought a space right across the street from the studio. When it came time for its grand opening, the establishment offered free desserts to everyone who came in. That’s when Bowie’s friend turned to him, his face a mix of melancholy and regret. Feeling his pain, Bowie rested his hand on his friend’s shoulder and said, “We could eat churros. Just for one day.”

I hired a guy back in 1990 who had just moved here from NJ and one day we go to a pizza buffet for lunch and he was eating a slice and making a strange face so I asked what’s wrong and he replied “ this onion tasted funky “ after a good laugh I replied “ that’s because it’s pineapple “ . He said “ ohh “ and kelp on enjoying.

I just popped this into the oven. Home made pork and beans, nothing fancy, I'm going for comfort food. Some cranberry beans I brined in baking soda and salt overnight, a cup of ketchup and some chopped onion, mustard and the usual then the beans and their cooking broth. In 3-4 hours I could enjoy them with that lovely cobbler of yours @DCcan for dessert! Damn that looked good.
