Cooking and eating, with or without cannabis!

I cooked today for our family Christmas get together. More like my wife’s sisters family, we’re all just jolly bunch of assholes this side of the Mississippi. Anyway I cooked chicken Alfredo, chicken qesodilias and French bread peppperoini pizza . I cooked a lot and there wasn’t much left so they most like it . They are all a bunch of squares , it was real tempting to put some canna butter or oil in it . We would got more laughs or trips to the er. I was going to be fine either way.
 
Finished up the Cherry Wink cookies this morning. Bagged ones are for squares, the rest are for Bad Santa and his little minions.

I’m not sure what kind of weather you fine folks are having but I had a great day. In the low 60’s just beautiful. Yesterday was a little different, the fog never lifted it was wet cold and pretty much a sucky day. I was awoken last night to tornado sirens tremendous rain and wind , then the power went out. Woke up this morning when I heard my printer start up so I knew the power was restored.

So yesterday morning my wife told me the weather was going to be so bad that wouldn’t be a to grill for at least a week. Just to prove a point I grilled NY strips and baked potatoes for supper last night and grilled burgers and made fry’s tonight. I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow because I have dr appointments in the middle of the day. But Tuesday I’m grilling pork ribs making field peas w/snaps and some kind of greens ( tbd) and cornbread.
