It's a hanging plant holder :eyesmoke:

There are a ton of places that have free models that you can download and print.

if you want to design your own models you need an app like fusion360
I'm gonna try to figure out these files and clean them up. That skull has a thin spot on the back that I'd like to be better. And the button for my truck could be smoother. I'm just trying to figure the printer and it's settings out first.

as a former machinist i am fascinated by these things. Alas no money.
It was $299 to jump in. I spent a total of 500 so far and have a lot to play with. You know g-code so should be an easy jump-in knowledge wise for you.

I was interested for a while too, I think I started talking with lg about 5 years ago about getting into it. My former boss was talking about getting one for the design shop but never did. Printers and what they can do has come pretty far since.

It can be even less expensive, I just wanted this printer specifically.

should make a repository or some sort of old school ftp server or something to mirror files for 3d printing various things like drip rings and those clips for bending plants. you guys make me want to buy one of these ive been told recently i have enough hobbies lol

What slicer are you using. Look for the iron feature and turn that on.
Elegoo has a slicer that I've been using. It converts it to the g-code that's needed and has worked great for the last few days.
This was my first printer. Acrylic frame. First few prints were parts to complete your printer lol.

It’s come a long way

Yeah I had to print a couple things to finish this one. Nothing that's actually needed but like the poop bin and the glass top holder.
