Step 1. Dry the herb to the point where the exterior is hard, but the interior still has a little moisture.

Step 2. Tightly wrap 1oz in a fresh corn husk.

Step 3. Vacuum seal it for 7-14 days. Duration depends on the moisture of the bud. Longer seal time suggested for flower that is dryer.

"Smoked 1 joint of it sitting out in the backyard. started feeling a nice clarity coming on toward the end of the joint, like i was thinking about all this stuff but it all became clear, i was solving problems and life issues in my head with this new intuition that i didn't have before.
came inside and sat down on the couch. fell into some sort of sleep-like state for about 15 minutes - i'm still not sure if i was asleep or awake, i think somewhere in between. it was just complete relaxation and like paralysis, but such a pleasant kind. i imagine it's what opiates would be like but i've never tried them. then i "woke up," and i had this amazing energy, like i just drank a cup of coffee. I went upstairs and started to indulge in my favorite creative past time (as i like to do after smoking - an artistic endeavor), and this high just never wore off. i am used to smoking every 2 hours or so, because i like to "stay medicated." 2 hours came and passed and i felt no need to smoke, didn't want to, i was still on this higher plane, and yet didn't feel "intoxicated" per say, but just enhanced. there was no "stone" to it at all, it wasn't like anything else i have ever experienced. it didn't feel like THC. it was better."

"The cobs however if you get it right, change the taste, smell and effect of the buds noticeably.
My Ace Malawi buds when smoked pure had a strong narcotic effect but I could handle it. The cob when smoked initially gave a very clear high, followed by a need to lie down, so bad that it bordered on collapse. I then had about 20 mins of tripping with my eyes closed, like paralyzed.
I could not tell if I was awake or asleep. Very vivid hallucinations in which I was present and directing the actions I took. Eventually I awoke from this dream state and everything was changed, visually distorted and my voice was in slow motion as were my actions, this lasted 4 or 5 hours.
The Zamaldelica cob just come on instantly and are so trippy initially that you have to grit your teeth, however they also overpower you for 10 to 15 minutes where I lay on the floor with crazy visions flashing through my mind. But then I snap to and everything appears crazy and fast like acid I have taken. I can never remember anything I do after I come down, its exhausting.
The buds from the same plant sweat cured have a similar effect but without the need to lay down and the trip is very clear and comparatively mild.
The cobbed flower rush is overwhelming and once the peak has passed, you then get into the high which is strong and very long lasting depending on the type of buds you are using."

Holy cow….. back in’78 a friend of mine bought a tiny bag of “ African Black “ and paid a ridiculous price for it but it was probably the most potent thing I’ve ever smoked. A tiny pinned put four of us to sleep and we didn’t even finish it. I’ve never heard of it since and have never encountered anyone who has. Maybe this is the mysterious weed of legends.🤔

Sounds about right. Except it was buried in dirt back then. The vacuum seal is a nice improvement to this process.

So

so see ya in 4 weeks? 😁
Yeah... LOL. I dont have a vacuum sealer, so my approach will be a little different.
I think the general idea is to make the cannabis sweat, and slightly ferment, before curing the cob. I wont have a smoke report for several months though... And my friends will be the first test subjects because they generally have a much higher tolerance than me. 😆

I generally smoke once or twice a month. Last month I consumed raw cannabis a few times, and thats about it. I was basically sober for the month of February. 😯

The love of this plant on every subject literally every aspect from seed to this is amazing. I know people that grow for different reasons or don't consume don't have the love you do by far. I've learned from you and hopefully will continue. Always something going on. 👊

I use a sous vide at 104 Fahrenheit for 48 hours. Then in the closet for a week or so. Haven't made it in a long time. I like to make a bit each time I do outdoor weed. It's is nice to have some around when you just need something different.

I will make a batch if I get anything outdoors this season.

It is about the fermentation from what I remember.
