How's the taste being grown indoor any difference. Should grow some saffron that would be neat even tho won't amount to much but be cool to see.
They are excellent strawberries. I can only compare to storebought and these are juicier, not surprising since they are constantly watered! They're very sweet, I would say the best I've had. Just going to wait and see how it goes. They look happy enough. Im so happy I ordered another 4 bar system that's horizontal. Considering running it in this tent and on the same res.

Saffron comes from a bulb. It's a crocus. Has to go through winter dormancy etc. Probably not good for this system.

takes a lot of crocus pistils to make some saffron.
 
I moved all the strawberries to one section. They seem happy enough and shifting to 13 hours of light doesn't seem to bother anything. Clones greened up right away in the system. Lowered my ppms to around 800 and the strawberries are less crispy leaved. Another lettuce season is in swing. I got romaine to sprout, excited to see how that does.
