Supposed to rain this afternoon. Yeah right I've heard that one before.
I will do my best rain dance and wash the car and play golf. I hope we get rained out. We need rain more than I need to golf.
Supposed to cool down a little, 101 instead of 108, be still my heart.
Plants were a little wilty this morning. I resolve to be more pro-active on my watering. We are hitting 90 in the tent and there's not a whole lot I can do about it.
I will do my best rain dance and wash the car and play golf. I hope we get rained out. We need rain more than I need to golf.

they had a smoking deal at the candy store.OZ's for 55. evidently I got the last? only? bag of 30.5% left turns only. The early bird gets the good stuff.
The dispo's around here are very competitive. We have 3 within a few blocks of each other. 9 am place was deserted, evidently stoners are not early risers.

I got up and 8am today. It was pretty awesome
Damn I thought 6am was early!Lovey rises around 3AM, even on Saturday/Sunday! I am more like 4:30ish. Our one dispensary is 20 miles from us and opens at 9AM when all the young stoners roll out.

Just the way it worked out. Friends and family in Northwest Phoenix metro (Deer Valley) area and job in Southeast Phoenix (Chandler) area. When I got out of the military, I got a place near ASU in Tempe then I found that job relatively nearby. Now my son lives in the same Tempe area.
I did get an apartment 2 miles from there my last two years before retirement. By then Lovey had moved into our retirement home near Prescott so I had to commute on days off and weekends. A 2 hour drive one way.

I have gone to the store for a specific item and get all kinds of things but what I went to the store for. No such thing as a quick trip to the store anymore It will hence forth be referred to as an "Expedition" in order to give the proper level of wandering about.I’ve gone for a 30 minute trip to the drug store and come home two hours later.

As a fellow Torontonian I can corroborate how terrible our traffic is.I’ve gone for a 30 minute trip to the drug store and come home two hours later.
I’m not far from the new subway expansion construction and the whole mess snarls city streets. Only another decade before they finish
