Did the bog walk this morning, got really hot when the sun got a bead on you.
First part over the Alder swamp is like a hydro grow. Everything is water under the canopy.
Then you go into the spruce bog, blueberries and mountain laurel finished blooming.
Had a big cone along the open skies, was so high on the last part, lol.

30% cap junky for 35 a half. damn this is some good smoke. I got to grow this. May have to go back and get some more.

That makes sense why the garlic I planted isn't like what I've seen growing.

The Last time I resorted to grocery store garlic it was the organic coop. Those turned out to be hardneck because locally sourced. Last year from the large chain supermarket and yeah they stock southern grown softneck.

most definitely, that would be perfect.
not in the budget, probably never.

my best bet will probably be a wine fridge dryer if I can do it for less than a couple hundred.

My rh fluctuations are crazy throughout the year. A paper bag, and maybe two for you will work. Leaving material on the drying plant helps too. Leave the leaves even the sun leaves. It's a balance of how much can be too much (moist material), or just enough.

that's what i do, the more vegetation the longer it takes to dry. I've had some mold when i slowed it down too much. That was with plastic though. I bet the paper lets it breathe considerably better. I'm embarrassed to admit I never thought about using paper bags before.

You can also use cardboard boxes if paper bags are not available or practical.

Don't be embarrassed. I have wood heat in the winter and it's stupid humid now. Two extremes. Drying is a art for consistency.....I don't always hit that, but definitely been thrown into both extremes.

I still have the drying temp problem. at 78 to 80 degrees I'm losing a lot of volatile's.

Oh yeah no need to be embarrassed. I have over dried and under dried all in the strive for consistency and strong wish to avoid mold.

Worry about that less. I'm in those temps in the winter. 70-80 with daily fluctuations is normal.

My experience is you can dry at those temps and low RH but you have to monitor closely and jar very early. Hygrometer in each jar plus more burping of jars to slow it down. To promote airflow around buds are not packed and no clumps in jars.

Oh and smoke/eat it faster!
