Shopping for garlic for the fall planting. I messed up last year, everywhere sold out so I planted supermarket garlic. It turned out to be a softneck variety, no good for the northern climate. I just picked it when I realized it wasn't making scapes and generally looking shitty. Amazed it came up at all, since softnecks are planted in spring, not fall.

Should have these available for fall planting. Can send a chat or question to find out when they will have it in stock for fall planting.

Oh goody. the wife needs a cart. off to the pot store later today.
I have converted all my grow from last harvest to brownies. Lately the pot at the dispo has been really good and cheap. I can't grow pot that good so I will smoke theirs and eat mine.

Boo! All their garlic is sold out. Nearly all anyway. Burpees fixed me up, got 3 varieties coming in September.

That makes sense why the garlic I planted isn't like what I've seen growing.

I was just going to say that. Chop, put in bags opened and moved around a little every day. Definitely will slow down and keep humidity.

I would try stacking just a little, stalks going one way then another layer the other for three rows high. With a small fan blowing so no stale air. Plus your hygrometer in bag. After few days can close and open to air and still shake a little.

Yea, they sell garlic from this years harvests from local\regional growers I believe. I just called them... they'll have in stock around +\- labor day weekend and start shipping. If you sign up for their newsletter or facebook page, they may have pre sales, then ship when in stock in order of orders placed.

I just finished drying... temp\rh started at 72\55... then went wacky... after 3 days it was too dry, so I place in a sealed bin... and some in paper bag in the sealed bin, then I would check and "burp" the bin and bags.... what i thought would be a 5 day quick dry turned into 11 days... not ideal, but it worked for me

Feels like a common refrain from a few. I know it’s the process I run up against the most.

We all live in such different climates.

Had to employ the paper bag the last few grows. It can definitely help as an intermediary buffer before jarring up.

OR, win the lottery and get a Koolatron like the bougie kids
