ahah sounds like me. i once had to take sensitivity training it involved a video and a multiple choice questionnaire. i was formally reprimanded for gently explaining to a supervisor who for some strange reason thought he was my supervisor (he wasnt my superior in any way shape or form) he continued to insist that he was in charge. i insisted he speak to his superior and he could speak my superior and relay any concerns he may have. this didnt work at all, this is where things got funny i didnt like his tone so i then proceeded to explain to him why i made significantly more money than him per hour even though his title was technically a supervisor this was the wrong approach even though the correct approach didnt initially work lol.I used to light into incompetent and lazy employees, got a sharp tongue for slackers and dolts.
Got an official reprimand in my folder, to not criticize ANY employees performance or actions going forward.
Now I just stand there and watch them play with proverbial gunpowder.
I laugh when managers' say "Why didn't you tell him, or ME!"
"Oh, I'm not allowed to discuss management issues any more."
