I used to light into incompetent and lazy employees, got a sharp tongue for slackers and dolts.
Got an official reprimand in my folder, to not criticize ANY employees performance or actions going forward.
Now I just stand there and watch them play with proverbial gunpowder.
I laugh when managers' say "Why didn't you tell him, or ME!"
"Oh, I'm not allowed to discuss management issues any more."

ahah sounds like me. i once had to take sensitivity training it involved a video and a multiple choice questionnaire. i was formally reprimanded for gently explaining to a supervisor who for some strange reason thought he was my supervisor (he wasnt my superior in any way shape or form) he continued to insist that he was in charge. i insisted he speak to his superior and he could speak my superior and relay any concerns he may have. this didnt work at all, this is where things got funny i didnt like his tone so i then proceeded to explain to him why i made significantly more money than him per hour even though his title was technically a supervisor this was the wrong approach even though the correct approach didnt initially work lol.

Nice day today.

Levi had a tournament up north, so took Dax to the beach because he wanted to swim. The water is alarmingly cold but he could care less. Went up to my knees and that was enough.

Now a Family bike ride up to watch one of Levi’s friends play ball on a warm summers eve. Not a bad day at all.

I've reconditioned the deck pots for this summers Diesel seed factory. Breaking that stuff up was a chore - it felt as hard as a brick so I wonder how much feed actually hit those roots last year?

Added 1 cup dolomitic lime, 14 cups vermiculite and 16 cups perlite in 5 gallons of black earth.

The higher concentration of perlite should keep the medium good n loose. Hoping the vermiculite helps with keeping some moisture during the summer heat. Should have three wee ones ready for transplant in a couple of days.

Good morning. Hedge trimming is cancelled today. I really wanted to get that done while the neighbors are away. There's a second wave behind this one, gonna be a soaker.

I'm off to the farmers market, then putting up more fencing, expanding the garden area.
I can't put anything nice out without woodchucks eating it, so I gotta dig in, lay stone and cement perimeter.

Yup Connecticut, what Towne was the cannolis, Waterbury? They have real Italian shops I've heard we're awesome. I just looked up it's in Hartford, probably 40 min or so away.
