you guys should have been there when I ripped our manager a new asshole for spray painting a machine with 2 part epoxy. highly flammable and toxic. Must wear a respirator when using. In a paint booth.
He did it in the middle of the shop not 20 feet away from a machine that was making actual fire. I got wrote up for verbal abuse. The whole office heard me cussing him out. He should have been fired on the spot. I filed a report with OSHA.

I should have mentioned not spray cans but industrial airless sprayers like you would use in a paint booth

nope, one of the 30%. I have dozens of tales involving the noted supervisor. He eventuality quit after they put him on graveyard shift.
Hubris is strong in management. They are loathe to admit any mistake.

sounds like where i work, ive basically given up. the person above me, i applied for the role when it was open. they then proceeded with an external hire a man 10 years younger with less knowledge. ive decided to no longer share any knowledge at my current rate of pay and routinely allow things to fail when its a direct result of others ineptness. sucks to suck i guess. lol.

I used to light into incompetent and lazy employees, got a sharp tongue for slackers and dolts.
Got an official reprimand in my folder, to not criticize ANY employees performance or actions going forward.
Now I just stand there and watch them play with proverbial gunpowder.
I laugh when managers' say "Why didn't you tell him, or ME!"
"Oh, I'm not allowed to discuss management issues any more."

Nice day today.

Levi had a tournament up north, so took Dax to the beach because he wanted to swim. The water is alarmingly cold but he could care less. Went up to my knees and that was enough.

Now a Family bike ride up to watch one of Levi’s friends play ball on a warm summers eve. Not a bad day at all.
