Random Stream of Consciousness

Grabbed some Death Wish coffee today for the snow coming in this Tuesday. Gonna roll a few and spend the day caffinated and high. It's good to have goals in life.

Another bluebird morning, the wind died and it got down to freezing so the neighbors roof was white again. Local store had untrimmed tri tip on sale so I had the boy pick one up. I think I am going to have to suck it up and put this on the BBQ low and slow. Getting out the back door is a little bit of drama but it needs to be done. He grabbed some pickled jalapenos for nacho's this afternoon also. I happen to have some leftover biscuits and gravy for breakfast this morning. I need to put a little milk in the gravy to loosen it up a bit but it will be fine.

Truthfully, with awd, traction control etc, don’t mind being out in this. Someone has to pick up our kid from the sleepover and get him to swimming lessons….

Just gotta give you a shout out for being a great dad,you do everything for those boy's. Just by him making you that mug in pottery class tells. They will remember everything when they get our age.
 
Back in the 'olden days (when all you had were RWD Detroit behemoths), we didn't venture out in the winter unless we had studded snows. Hardly ever see them (studded snows) anymore. One of my first jobs was at a mom and pop Phillips 66 gas station tire busting and installing the studs into tires. Sucked. The cranky old guy that owned the station did teach me how to rebuild and tune carburetors.

They’re good kids and I know in a few years I’m gonna have two teenage boys, so enjoying this time with them a ton while they are still kids.
