The last time I skied Mammoth they had avalanche cannons and then the ski patrol avalanche guys would go up afterwards for a local fix with smaller explosives? It's been a couple decades since I was last there. So I'm sure it's all different now. That was terrifying to me.

It was pretty windy and greasy. That was around Schomberg. Just past the Lloydtown-Aurora exit
