Random Stream of Consciousness

I have a question someone here might help with. I am running 3 tents ATM on 2 20 amp circuits. I know little about electricity but would I benefit from a 240V circuit just for lights totalling 2000W. I am loaded up with peripheral devices, like 10 of them, pumps, fans, etc. Running out of sockets too.

yea i would put your lights on 240 for sure. you’ll need a 30 amp box on 240. that should handle up to 4000 watts. those boxes have 4 outlets. you’ll also need a 120 volt outlet near this box to power the timer for your trigger cord. id suggest not getting a box with a built in timer just incase the built in timer breaks. i have a nice simple one by titan controls but it appears they dont make it anymore. i tried looking it up and the new one looks to big for fuck all with some other odd switch on the front with an extra plug seems unnecessary. id suggest finding a nice simple one with 4 plugs and a trigger cord nothing more less shit to break. also you need to exercise that lever inside the box even if your lights arent being used you should make your timer move that lever at least once a day

Good morning all!
