What fresh hell is this
The sun came back yesterday afternoon.
We had an electrical problem yesterday one of our breakers kept tripping. All the rain had gotten into our outside light and it was shorting out.
Called an electrician and he had it diagnosed and fixed in less than an hour. Sometimes it pays to get a professional. I had tried replacing the breaker but no good, one of things that baffled me was there were two hot wires going into the breaker. Someone in the past had jury-rigged the garage door opener to that circuit. In a bit of serendipity we used the new breaker I had bought for the extra line. So we fixed a problem we didn't know we had.
