New pump day! I what I thought was a stainless steel 3/4 HP pump. After my last grow I disassembled the pump as much as I could for cleaning. I discovered that it's not actually stainless, it's chrome plated on the outside and rusting on the inside. My plants didn't seem to mind the extra iron lol. New pump is plastic and easier to clean. Surprisingly it's a bit smaller than the old pump but weighs twice as much!

That sucks about the old pump. Some grades of stainless will rust.

Years ago I worked at a small microbrewery and we had a sparking water gig for a very nice restaurant in nyc. Well they decided to sorce their own kegs. All of them rusted.

At least stainless is easy to clean. Even 400 series needs passivation.

I am near embarrassed by my good fortune. Perks of working in sports marketing business resulted in two tickets to game one of the World Series tonight.

The boys lobbied hard, but it’ll be me and the Missus.

Then on Saturday night, since the Dodgers are clients, we’re taking them to a dinner before Game 2.

Busy friggin’ weekend, but can hardly complain.

Get second game seats for the kids from that dinner. You've earned it. Being seen in public with dem bums!! LOL I used to fall asleep in my childhood listening to my mother curse them for losing a game they should have won yelling, "Go back to Brooklyn you (choose your expletive)!"

I have a 2x3 for that. It fits a common wire shelving unit for levels of germ and veg. Ac infinity tents have the smoothest zippers, bar none. AI controller is the way to go. Lots of ports for every device.

LG gives a convincing endorsement. I am happy with the Floraflex products I have used and am looking at their pumps for my fire suppression system.

I like the Danner Pondmaster pumps, magnetic impeller is a breeze to replace and only $30 instead of a new pump.
Only moving part, along with an included o-ring with the kit. It's designed for rough outdoor service, nothing to corrode.
It can shoot gravel out if it gets sucked in, operates pretty good with debris.

Same old same old - just a lot more of it.

Though I do have a new fan of the Diesel. I gave him a couple of nugs to try out about a month ago. I was not expecting him to call me a few days later and arrange to get a zip of this stuff each month. We met this past Tuesday for 1/2 priced wing night and he did a big fat pipe full of RD a little before they arrived at Whisky John's. He did a refresher just before we left. He prattled on about weed, breaded vs. non-breaded wings and any other rando topic for the entire 2 hours we were there. Sounds like the sativa effect to me.

I also have a neighbor who likes indica for the sleep aid who will also get a couple of External nugs once they return from visiting la famille in Montreal. I bet she won't say a thing ...
