Mornin’ kids ☕

Product of the chalk generation here also ✋🏻

Sorry I was bouncing in and out of chat. Kids wanted to stay up and watch the Sportsball.

Another crisp and sunny one out there. Enjoy it!

I faked an asthma attack while on eraser duty, you should of seen the teacher's face, lol.
Teacher was called to the office given demerits because they were supposed to do it themselves, under union contract.
That sounds a lot like my youngest son when he got stung by a bee in class I think it was 3rd grade O I wish I could have seen her face when he told her that he was allergic and her face when we told her to ask him why he was allergic and he without missing a beat it hurts and turns red priceless

The time has come. Levi is getting a phone.

He’s going to be 12 soon and while we hate introducing another screen, we realize it carries some value. He is one of only two kids in his home room who don’t have a phone. He’s eager for more independence and responsibility, so here we go. We live downtown and he does take the subway / streetcar from time to time and think the peace of mind (and tracking the little bugger) would be welcome.

So in this scenario I’ll pass him my iPhone 13 and Daddy gets to upgrade to the 17. Someone has to take one for the team, plus I’m paying for his plan - it’s only fair ;)

Parenting’s a trip.

My daughter is going to be 13 this week. A phone is something we where thinking too. I can't believe I'm at this point of being a parent. And yes the extra screen is not appealing, but the independence for her and communication for all of us is.

Funny I was looking at flip phones this morning.....and I thought damn she's gonna get busted on lol
