Mornin’ y’all ☕

Back to the grind after a long weekend. Not as much off the Honey Do list as I’d hoped, but solid progress.

My list is done! Doing a harvest, flipping the tent and hosting company for dinner was stressful. House didn't stink of weeks so I'm calling it a success.

This week I'm planning a game for Wednesday and that's it. Just chill and get high all week.

I bought two AC Infinity 69 pro controllers used on Amazon for $40 each. I was kinda expecting them to be a bit beat up but they came in original packaging with all documentation and accessories. Even had the protective film on the screen. Not bad for 2/3 off retail!

Had to laugh... as I was setting up the first controller the ACI app told me there was another device that is not configured. I started to wonder if one of my neighbors were growing lol. Nope the controller for my dome that I've had for two years is bluetooth and I didn't even know! Now I can control that in the app too!

looks good to me.
ever notice how a skilled craftsman can do whatever it is in half the time and make it look twice as good.
When we lived in Yreka my little brother the electrician rewired my 1920's craftsman in 2 afternoons. One afternoon to drive to Medford for supplies and golf the other afternoon to play golf and install the supplies.
My dad was a carpenter and jack-of-all trades. He was so good. He made it look so easy. He had a way old cheap ass table saw (not a cabinet saw like those little portables you see). He built a fabulous table around it and a fence he also built. He turned out the most gorgeous kitchen cabinetry. So I worked in his shop in the evenings with him, learning (or so I thought). Anyway I have a shop he dreamt of, Unisaw, Incra Fence, Incra router table, 18" Delta bandsaw. I make the most gorgeous sawdust you have ever seen. Still haven't turned out even 1 kitchen cabinet.

It all looked so damn easy. 🤣

When Pinatubo erupted they boxed up equipment and shipped it to us on Guam in mahogany plywood crates. I snagged as much of that as I could however most of it got stolen in New Orleans when our stuff got shipped back because some idiot airman thought I was shipping explosives because I had shotgun hulls and they cracked open the containers to "inspect" them.

Hub was part of mother MAC (AMC). You had a friend at the receiving end who pulled your 'cargo' for you ;D

Good morning happy Tuesday.

Gonna be a nice week. Heading up to 72 today!
Pouring, wet and rainy here (we need it) but wet and cold are not my friends. Oh hot and dry really isn't either. I honestly lived my best life in an ice cold, but dry OR with the person I was working on sound a sleep with a hole in their head and someone serving me orange juice through a straw. Sigh..... I miss the good old days.
