Mini split in AZ definitely mini split. My swamp cooler in the house helped but I still hit 105 canopy temps several times during summer and the new mini's will heat during winter for you too. My room is at 80 whether it needs cooling or not. My best place in the house is my grow rooms. So it's a bit expensive but it makes working in your garage bearable. So that's a plus when you need to hide

I want to know what you bought. I need to cool 4 rooms by next spring. Our 2 window units were recalled for mold issues and now we are broiling through a late heatwave with no A/C except for a noisy little unit from my grow room lol. He also told me a great story about my general contractor in Vegas. Tony Z is about 5'5" tall and probably the same in circumference. Apparently he was insane about bungee jumping and was eager to repeat. Must have looked like a tether ball on the wing. You'd think guys who walk on roofs for a living would shy away from falling for fun.
