Good thing I waited till after he left to chop, the whole house reeks of fresh cut marijuana now.

It looks like golf is getting ready to be expensive in Tucson. The head pro at The Highlands told us after the overseed the rates will of course go up but not to worry he can get us out for 80 bucks. Out of my price range but better than rack rate of 150. I may not be playing much golf this winter.

Hate when courses do that. Peninsula Lakes in Font Hill went from $95 in 2022 to $350 in 2023. New owners were totally clueless about the whackfuck realm.

Nice track built in an old quarry ... but it's not $350 nice.

I think the courses around here are not going to get as many snowbirds as before. I would say at least a third of the people they pair us with are Canadians, or they were.
I'm hoping the supply exceeds the demand and fucks up their pricing algorithm.

40% drop in international visitors ... I have seen pics from Pearson showing very empty departure gates this summer

I would say yes. We couldn't cause we still have no blower motor (supposed to be fixed later today) but with temps +5C @ 2:25 AM ... we sure could have used it.

In a fit of contrition I promised to clean the patio as a penance for stinking up the house. I think I just got played by a master manipulator.
