I'm carless today and tomorrow 
My partner's car is in having the instrument cluster replaced. I think we're going to start looking for a new car for her before the warranty expires. Car isn't even five years old and it needed something fixed in the transmission that took almost a week. You couldn't put it in reverse, but if you have one of those computers to clear the codes it would go into reverse no problem until the next time it got the code. Also had a problem with the air bag in drivers seat. that was another couple days. Over $5,000 of warranty service, just one problem after another with that POS.

I had some major issues with the steering rack in my civic but it's been good since they got it fixed. Had me in a kia rental car for two months.
My first car was a Volvo that was a hand me down from my dad. Had it for six years, did little over 120,000km, never did oil changes, just fed it a liter every once in a while and I did the front brakes once. Just a great reliable car, newer Volvos are just a headache.
She really wants electric and not Tesla. We almost got a model 3 when she got the S60

My Wife loves her Ioniq. Again, if you’re just using it around the city, it’s awesome. You’ll want hybrid or gas if you guys are doing any long-distance hauls. Thinking about Ottawa for you @Laughing Grass

We won't get rid of my car, just hers so we'd still have a gas car. She only drives about 40km a day
